Our barn style coop comes standard with unfinished wood and 20 year life corrugated roofing available in galvanized steel or composite with colors available in Adobe, Green or Dark Gray. Our base unit comes with a slanted roof (peaked roof is optional). Siding is Grade A plywood.
Standard measurements are 8 feet long, 3 feet deep, and 6 to 8 feet tall depending on if it has a slanted roof or peaked roof. The coop / house is elevated to allow extra covered run space beneath it, or the perfect place to put feeding and watering apparatus. 3 Nesting boxes are built in with a door on the outside to allow easy access to eggs. There is a small door and ramp allowing chickens access to the run area, and gives you the option to have them locked in at night (which helps to get them in the habit of laying eggs every morning). There is a full size door to the run area allowing easy access to the chickens and for cleaning. An interior shelf and several roosting poles for extra space are also included. One wire mesh window is included as pictured.
